Murkiness- The Deep Thinker

Salve! My friends, Ladies and Gentlemen. People often suggest and advice people to wake up early in the morning and not to stay awake till too late in the night. I, though, respectfully want to present to you a persepctive of my own, through of course, a poem. I have been so much into free- verse lately, so do tell me if it was good or bad. Soooo, let's get the coffee and start reading the poem:

Murkiness

I love the murkiness of night,
Its aura, its undertone.
Nights let the unheard voices roar,
And the unthinkable notions wander.

The murkiness increases the importance of gleam,
and the need for it.
Hitting the hay early nullifies its essence,
for it needs to be explored.

Murkiness in itself, soothes me,
My Heart, My Soul, My Brain.
Its odour, its silence, its consistency,
Tastes Beautiful.

  1. This poem has kind of changed my opinion towards the darkness of night. I will hit the hay a bit late now...

  2. Nicola Tesla once said, "The present is theirs; the future, for which I really worked, is mine" but in your case present, past and future, everything is yours. You are a really great poet!
